Low-Level Landscape 7, Zhejiang Art Museum

Hangzhou, 2021

"Low-Level Landscape 7" features a 9-story "rotating mechanical tower" at its core, composed of nine continuously rotating rings. A camera at the center of the rings is mounted on the tower's central axis, constantly capturing the hand-built landscapes on the rings as the mechanism turns, transmitting the live feed to nine LCD screens. Commissioned by artist Hu Weiyi.
